    NUIT BLANCHE Call for Volunteers.

Are you good with people? Interested in art and social justice? Volunteer for a shift with art collective DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC MEMORY at Nuit Blanche 2017! On September 30th we’ll be hitting the streets for a full twelve hours to install three new art pieces and engage audiences in conversations about civic action and Toronto history. We’re looking for dynamic volunteers who like speaking with people, are willing to wear a fun uniform while doing so, and are up for an interesting and unusual experience. We are particularly looking for Portuguese-speaking volunteers for the middle shift of the night. Volunteer shifts are from 6:30 pm- 10:30 pm, 10:30 pm-2:30 am, 2:30 am-6:30 am. We’d be happy to sign off on community hours for any of our volunteers and/or write letters of reference after the event.
