“Voices was the first place I was introduced to when I came to Canada as a woman living with HIV. I remember meeting other women living with HIV, sex workers, drug users, immigrants, women from other countries. I remember – just the name, “Voices”… women who had experiences having voice. I miss the togetherness, cause now we are all divided. These are black women, these are drug users… At Voices there was just women.”
